The RTS Programme Awards 2025, in partnership with Cast & Crew, will take place on Tuesday 25 March 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London.
The RTS Programme Awards are one of the gold standard awards in our industry and are an important showcase of the extraordinary talent evident across all genres in British television.
Across the 29 competitive categories, the RTS Programme Awards recognise programmes and performances that have significantly contributed to the evolving television industry and UK audiences. In particular, the juries look to identify and celebrate content which is high quality, offers originality, contributes to the development of new genres, shows impact on audiences, and showcases technical and production excellence.
For 2025, the Single Drama and Limited Series categories have been combined into a single category, including self-contained drama series with a closed-ended story arc as well as Single Dramas.
The nominations announcement will be presented via a live stream on Tuesday 11 March by TV presenter Gaby Roslin. Find out more about how to watch the live stream here.
Kenton Allen, Chair of the RTS Programme Awards, said: “The RTS Programme Awards are always bursting with talent and showcases the boundary-pushing, outstanding content and incredible innovation in all areas of story-telling, that continuously captivates viewers around the world. We are phenomenally excited to celebrate the best of UK television with support from industry leaders Cast & Crew. It has been an incredible year for our industry thus far, despite the various challenges we all face, and we look forward to the huge variety of entries and celebrating their achievements at next year’s ceremony.”
