The Annual RTS Ireland Television Awards celebrates excellence and achievement in the Irish television industry. Gradaim Theilifíse RTS Bhliantúla na hÉireann le barr feabhais agus gaisce in earnáil teilifíse na hÉireann a ceiliúradh.
Winners will be announced on the evening of Tuesday April 12th at a special event in Dublin’s RDS Concert Hall.
Hosted by Blaithnaid Treacy with Nuala Carey, a range of small screen stars will gather on the night to celebrate excellence in Irish Television over the last year.
Supported by RTÉ, Virgin Media Television, TG4, Sky Ireland, BAI & Screen Ireland, the 2022 RTS Ireland Television Awards are kindly also sponsored by Piranha Bar, Nemeton TV, Camerakit.ie, Windmill Lane, Ardmore Studios, Egg Post Production, Screenscene/NEP, IMRO & TVM.
Last year’s inaugural winners included Element Pictures, for Normal People, and Dara Ó Bríain.
Speaking at the announcement of short-listed nominees Awards Chairperson Niall Cogley said “We are gratified by the enthusiastic participation of so many talented Irish individuals and organisations, who have embraced this Gradaim/RTS Ireland Television Awards event again this year. We are especially excited to finally gather together again as television professionals to pay tribute to the very best Irish performers producers and contributors in the industry”.
