The highly anticipated Clarkson, Hammond and May venture The Grand Tour has released its official trailer
Last month the release date of the new show, which will be available on subscription service Amazon Prime, was confirmed as 18 November.
The new advert, which follows previous teasers and behind-the-scenes images, begins with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond making fun of James May's broken arm. May arrives on set and needs assistance getting out of his car, as Clarkson asks "have you actually broken your arm?" and Hammond giggling next to him.
Wide angle shots of the show's global locations are interspersed with footage of the trio receiving a warm welcome from a studio audience as well as performing their trademark stunts. The group are seen dropping one car from a crane into the sea; blowing up a four-wheel-drive with a tank; being chased by helicopters; and racing each other on jetskis. The final scene shows Clarkson stalling in an Aston Martin Vulcan before claiming "it's quite normal."
There has been much publicity around the show, including legalities around its title, decisions on the format of each episode, and filming locations. In September it was reported that the opening scene for The Grand Tour cost a total of £2.5million to film and features 2,000 extras, 150 cars, 2 jet planes and a parade of stilt-walkers. It is rumoured to be the most expensive opening sequence ever made for television.
The presenters have signed on for three series of 12 episodes over the next three years.
