First-look images revealed for final series of The Summer I Turned Pretty

Prime Video has released first-look images for the third and final series of coming-of-age romance drama The Summer I Turned Pretty.

The series, an adaptation of Jenny Han’s novel trilogy, follows a love triangle between a girl and two brothers. Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) is getting attention from two Fisher boys: Conrad (Christopher Briney, Mean Girls) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno, The Unhealer). Although both of them are fun, eventually, she has to make her mind up.

Series two ended with Belly choosing Jeremiah, who drives her back home to Philadelphia. Conrad is left trying to move on as amicably as he can.

However, fans of the book will know (spoiler alter) that the trilogy ends with Belly leaving Jeremiah upon realising he cheated on her when the two were on a break. The man she ends up marrying is Conrad. That said, Han has teased there are surprises in store for people who think the know the ending of the TV adaptation.

Regardless of outcome, the show’s final visit to Cousins Beach will see the story of love, heartbreak and female friendship finally come to an end.
