Showtime has released a teaser trailer of Yellowjackets series two and a first look at Elijah Wood as Walter.
Yellowjackets follows a team of New Jersey high school football players who are forced to survive in the wilderness for 19 months after their plane crashes on a trip to a football game. The series jumps between their time in the wilderness in 1996 and the current day, as their traumatic survival experience seems to follow them into the present.
The Lord of the Rings' Elijah Wood will play a Citizen Detective who is set to cross paths with Misty (Christina Ricci) and challenge her. The image shows Wood alongside Ricci in the present day, looking off camera near woodland.

Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell will also join the cast for series two, alongside existing cast Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sammi Hanratty, Steven Krueger, Kevin Alves, Warren Kole and Ella Purnell.
Series two will be released in the US on 24th March on Showtime, while a UK date is yet to be announced.
Yellowjackets series one is available to watch on Now TV, Prime Video and Paramount+.
