Eccentric magazine show Eurotrash is set to return for an ‘édition spéciale’ ahead of the EU Referendum.
Hosts Antoine de Caunes and Jean Paul Gaultier, will present the British public with a look at some of the best, worst and weirdest things that Europe has to offer.
Tim Carter, CEO Twenty Twenty Productions, who is producing the show in association with Rapido Television, said “Eurotrash is the reason most of us work in telly! I'm sure when it comes to the Referendum, it will be Eurotrash wot wins it ...for which side is anyone's guess.”
De Caunes and Gaultier will be joined in the brand new Eurotrash studio by a selection of guests, and will celebrate the lifestyles of the “crazy continentals” on our doorstep, from the worlds of politics, fashion, art, music and sex.
Eurotrash ran for 16 series on Channel 4 between 1993 and 2007, boasting audience shares of over 20%.
The one-off special is due to air on Channel 4 ahead of the Referendum, which takes place on 23 June.
