To celebrate the release of Disney Pixar’s Incredible 2 in cinemas, the Disney Channel has promised an 'Incredible Summer' with a line-up of old favourites and new shows on the channel.
The season will feature a host of new content including That’s So Raven spin-off Raven’s Home as well as the Disney Channel premiere of DuckTales. Classic animated films such as Mulan and Aladdin are also part of the line up.
Kicking off the countdown to the Disney Channel's summer season, on Friday 13 July the channel will show the 2004 animated film The Incredibles. The film follows the Parr family, who have super powers and are forced to hide their abilities and take part in a government relocation programme. When a new villain comes to town the family need to use their powers to save the world. The film was a huge success and featured the voice talents of Holly Hunter, Craig. T. Nelson and Samuel L Jackson.
The summer line up also includes Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp, an unscripted docu-series that follows a group of 10-12 year olds as they embark on summer camp, as well as the second series of Andi Mack, about the dramas of a teenager's family life.
The Disney Channel's Incredible Summer runs for seven weeks from Monday 23 July. Incredibles 2 hits UK cinemas on Friday 13 July.
