Killing Eve series three will return to screens April 13th on BBC iPlayer, the day after it premieres in the US on BBC America.
The new weekly episodes will be available to stream every Monday from 6am and air on BBC One on Sundays at 9pm, starting from Sunday 19th April.
The second series finale ended with a shock twist as Villanelle (Jodie Comer) appears to finally achieve her mission of 'killing Eve' when she shoots Eve (Sandra Oh) in Rome and leaves her for dead.
However, the new trailer reveals Eve is live and well, and ready to play. The revelation seems to ruffle Villanelle, who is becoming increasingly aggravated without her work as an assassin.
The duo are drawn back together when a shocking death leads them down a new dangerous path.
Suzanne Heathcote (Fear of The Walking Dead) took over from Emerald Fennell as lead writer for the third series, produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd for BBC America.
Harriet Walter (Succession), Danny Sapani (The Crown), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones) and Steve Pemberton (Inside No.9) are among the new cast members who have joined series regulars Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Sean Delaney and Owen McDonnell for the third installment of the spy drama.
Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content, said: “The fierce women of multi-award-winning Killing Eve are returning exclusively to BBC iPlayer and BBC One once again, to entertain the nation with more explosive action and breathtaking cliffhangers."
She added, "I promise you that series three of this unmissable drama has been worth the wait!”
Killing Eve series three will stream weekly on BBC iPlayer from Monday 13th April and will air on BBC One from Sunday 19th April. Series one and two are now available on BBC iPlayer.
