RTS Cymru Wales is delighted to announce the return of its annual awards, following a break in 2021.
As well as celebrating the very best work by students, RTS Cymru Wales is expanding its industry awards and also allowing programme makers to submit nominations for 2020 and 2021 to celebrate Welsh talent’s hard work during television’s most challenging period.

We are very much looking forward to bringing together our members, the Welsh TV industry and the students who will be the content makers of the future for a celebratory event. Details of that event and how to purchase tickets will be announced in the coming months.
Student Awards will be for the following categories with separate awards for undergraduates and graduates:

Edward Russell, Chair of RTS Cymru Wales said:
"It is important to include awards for our ‘missing’ year, so that we can reflect content produced during the industry’s most challenging period to date.
2020 demonstrated the importance of television, whether for news, education or entertainment and we are keen to shine a spotlight on programme makers.
We’re also incredibly excited to be able to see you in person next year for what promises to be a fantastic evening in a wonderful venue, along with the chance for industry and students to celebrate together"
