Biography
Hillsborough is Britain's worst sporting disaster - 97 men, women, and children died. The documentary tells the remarkable battle of Merseyside mum and campaigner Anne Williams, who lost her son Kevin. For nearly three decades, she fought the English establishment to expose the truth of what really happened at Hillsborough and to try and get justice for the 97.
As a companion film to Anne the drama, Maxine Peake, who plays her, immerses herself in her story speaking to family, survivors and countless others.
Now, one year on, we pick up the conversation with the only broadcast journalist who gained access to the Capitol building, ITV News’ Robert Moore, along with other leading figures in journalism and politics including CNN’s Brian Stelter, Damian Collins MP and Lucy Powell MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport in the United Kingdom in this session, chaired by Channel 4 News' Cathy Newman
