Biography

Rhodri Talfan Davies was appointed BBC Director of Nations in January 2021 and sits on the BBC’s Executive Committee.

Rhodri leads all the BBC’s work serving nations and local audiences across Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. He also holds additional responsibilities as Director of BBC Wales.

The BBC Nations division is one of the largest divisions in the BBC and produces a range of content across TV, Radio and Online for audiences in the nations, across all of the UK and globally.
