Alibi has announced the cast for the new serial killer drama Ragdoll, based on the novel by Daniel Cole.
Henry Lloyd-Hughes (Killing Eve) and Thalissa Teixeira (Trigonometry) will join Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) in the modern-day Faustian thriller following a trio of detectives attempting to solve a series of horrific murders.
Lloyd-Hughes stars as the newly reinstated DS Nathan Rose, with Teixeira playing his boss and best friend, DI Emily Baxter. Hale will play the unit’s newest recruit, DC Lake Edmunds.
As the unit is assigned a disturbing new case, nicknamed Ragdoll, involving multiple murders, public pressure begins to mount when the ‘Ragdoll Killer’ openly taunts the police with a list of their next victims, including DS Nathan Rose himself.
Ragdoll will explore the devastating effects of trauma and institutionalisation on the group of flawed friends.
The six-part series, directed by Toby Macdonald (Old Boys), has commenced filming in London and will air later this year on Alibi.
