Daisy Edgar-Jones

Daisy trained with National Youth Theatre before landing her first role at the age of 17 as a series regular in the British Comedy-Drama Cold Feet alongside James Nesbitt for ITV. Her other TV credits include Silent Witness (BBC) Outnumbered: Christmas Special (BBC), Gentleman Jack (HBO/BBC. Earlier this year, Daisy was seen in War of the Worlds (CANAL PLUS) opposite Gabriel Byrne and Elizabeth McGovern and the series has just finished filming for season 2. In 2018, Daisy appeared in the independent coming-of-age feature film Pond Life directed by Bill Buckhurst and produced by Open Palm Films.

Most recently, Daisy was seen playing the lead role of Marianne in the adaptation of the Sally Roone novel Normal People, directed by Lenny Abrahamson. The series was met with critical acclaim as was Daisy’s performance, which earned her a Golden Globe and TV Critics Choice nomination for Best Actress in a Limited Series; IMDb’s Breakthrough STARMeter Award, a Madame Figaro Rising Star Award, a Rose d'Or Emerging Talent Award - making Daisy the first-ever winner of this award - as well as being named as one of Screen International’s ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ for 2020 and being picked by The Hollywood Reporter for their Next Gen 2020 list.

In 2020 Daisy appeared as Zara in Mike Barlett’s Albion, at the Almeida Theatre. The play returned following a sell-out run in 2017 and was later dubbed The Telegraph’s "Play of the Year”. Daisy has recently finished filming lead role in her feature film debut Fresh, directed by Mimi Cave opposite Sebastian Stan. The social thriller will portray the discomfort and fear women face daily as their bodies are commodified by society, in a raucous comedy. Next up, Daisy will be filming as lead in the film adaption of Delia Owens’ novel Where The Crawdads Sing, in the titular role of Kya. The film is written by Lucy Alibar, directed by Olivia Newman and produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter’s Hello Sunshine. 

Paul Mescal

Emmy nominated actor Paul Mescal trained at The Lir Academy, Ireland’s National Academy of Dramatic Art. Immediately after graduating, Paul was cast in the title role of The Great Gatsby at Dublin’s prestigious Gate Theatre. This was the first of several consecutive leading stage roles in both Dublin and London. His credits include: The Red Shows, Asking For It, The Plough and The Stars, A Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man and A Midsummer Night's Dream. 

Paul has also appeared in Lisa McGee’s new TV drama The Deceived and short film Drifting. In January 2020, Paul played the title role in Martin McDonagh’s critically-acclaimed The Lieutenant of Inishmore, to outstanding reviews.

Paul played the lead role of Connell in the adaptation of the Sally Rooney novel Normal People, directed by Lenny Abrahamson. Paul was nominated at the 72^nd Primetime Emmy Awards for Leading Actor in a Limited Series and recently nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award 2021. In 2020, Paul was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow. Paul has been cast in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directional debut The Lost Daughter and will star as the lead in Benjamin Millepied’s Carmen.
