RTS Cymru Wales, BAFTA Cymru and Netflix are teaming up for a special preview screening of Sex Education (Series 2, Episode 1), followed by a Q&A with the creative minds behind the smash-hit series.
Insecure Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) has all the answers when it comes to sex advice, thanks to his therapist mother (Gillian Anderson). So rebel Maeve (Emma Mackey) proposes a school sex-therapy clinic.
In season 1 of Netflix's comedy drama, Otis and Maeve capitalised on his intuitive talent for sex advice, and now in season 2, late-bloomer Otis must master his newly discovered sexual urges in order to progress things with his girlfriend Ola whilst also dealing with his now strained relationship with Maeve. Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a chlamydia outbreak, highlighting the need for better sex education at the school, and new kids come to town, challenging the status quo...
The screening, held at Chapter Arts Centre Cardiff on January 15th at 6pm, will be followed by a Q&A with the series' key creatives.
