BBC Two will welcome new professional chefs into the MasterChef kitchen this autumn.
48 ambitious chefs will compete against each other in a series of intense challenges across seven gruelling weeks.
The contestants will test their culinary skills in highly revered restaurants and cater for the armed forces.
Once whittled down to the final four, the chefs will need to demonstrate outstanding creativity and commitment in order to be crowned the champion of MasterChef: The Professionals 2019.
The ambitious chefs will be under the watchful eyes of MasterChef judges Gregg Wallace and Michelin-starred chefs Monica Galetti and Marcus Wareing.
“This series is going to be fierce,” said Monica Galetti.
“The chefs are going to have to pull out all the stops and keep us on our toes. I cannot wait to discover who is going to emerge on top.”
“I want bold, I want brilliant and I want beautifully-cooked food,” added Wareing. “That’s what will get my attention and really help a chef stand out.”
MasterChef: The Professionals starts on Tuesday 5th November at 8pm on BBC Two.
