The Isle of Man premiere of Brothers of Italy, a short drama shot on the island in 2018.
Brothers of Italy is the true story set in 1940 about an Italian man, Sante Petrucco, who is arrested and interned on the Isle of Man during World War II.
The film is a Hoofprint Productions project, produced by Samantha Seivwright and is written and directed by Sante’s grandson Marco Petrucco.
We are looking forward to welcoming some of the actors back to the island. Niccolo Besio, who is best known for his lead role in the Netflix series Borgia, plays the lead character and Marc Pickering of Boardwalk Empire, Sleepy Hollow and Les Miserables stars as the lead antagonist in the story.
