The Crown has been hailed for raising the bar in cinematic television. Taking audiences behind closed doors, the Netflix series chronicles the major political and global events of Queen Elizabeth II’s early reign.

Recreating some of history’s biggest moments, to getting the period detail just right, while maintaining the essence of Peter Morgan’s script, is no easy task. It takes a dedicated and collaborative team. Join Director Ben Caron, Production Designer Martin Childs, Costume Designer Jane Petrie, Editor Pia Di Ciaula and VFX Supervisor Ben Turner as they reveal how they brought this ambitious story to life.
