Director of Newsgathering, ITV News
Julie Hulme is Director of Newsgathering for ITV News, a role she has held since December 2016, when she was promoted from Director of UK Content.
In a career that has crossed newsgathering and programme making, Hulme previously spent almost a decade at Channel 4 News as a senior programme editor and Head of Home News.
Before joining ITN in 1998, she spent ten years at the BBC, working her way up from news trainee to senior producer including stints in the North of England, Washington DC and working on World at One and PM on BBC Radio 4.
