An exclusive RTS Bristol event in September
In conversation with Ben Frow, Director of Programmes at Channel 5 and Adrian Padmore, Factual Commissioner
Channel 5 has been on a real journey over the past four years under Ben Frow, evolving into an 'innovative, ambitious and brave' broadcaster, in Frow's words. Last year the channel commissioned over 1,000 hours of original content in peak, with over 60 brand new series. Frow and factual commissioner Adrian Padmore will share their vision and ambitions for Channel 5 and discuss ongoing opportunities for the production community in the West of England. Frow is on the hunt for more 'life affirming and celebratory programmes’ in peak, younger-skewing shows at 10pm and isn't afraid to take risks with stripped event TV programming.
Join RTS Bristol for the inside track on Frow's strategy to deliver reputational shows that rate.
Hosted by Lynn Barlow, Chair of RTS Bristol and Assistant Vice-Chancellor, Creative and Cultural Industries Engagement, UWE
