John is CEO of ITN, one of the largest media production companies in the UK and the producer of the daily national news programmes for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Alongside its world-leading broadcast news division, ITN’s in-house commercial and creative content division ITN Productions is a market leader in television, sports, and advertising production.
ITN produces returning series such as Dispatches and ITV’s The Agenda; compelling documentaries such as Children on the Frontline and Interview with a Murderer; popular factual shows including Young Vets; and live specials, such as Channel 4’s Alternative Election Night and The Great British Breakup?
As official production partner for the English Football League, ITN is one of the world’s biggest football producers. ITN also has major contracts with News UK and SNTV to provide official highlights clips from the Barclays Premier League, amongst other high profile sports.
ITN Productions’ advertising business has worked with major clients including Virgin Holidays, Samsung, and the National Lottery and is the preferred production partner for ITV AdVentures.
ITN is a leader in digital news and distribution supplying most of the UK’s national newspapers with daily content. ITN Source provides a daily news service to global clients including NBC, CNN, Reuters, ZDF, and PBS.
Prior to joining ITN, John spent eight years as Executive Vice President at Walt Disney Television EMEA. Before that he was Commercial and Marketing Director of the ITV Network between 1997 and 2001. John began his career at Procter & Gamble, latterly as Managing Director of the European Cosmetics Division.
