RTS Student Television Awards 2006
The winners of the 12th RTS Student Television Awards were announced at a Ceremony on Friday 4 May 2007 at the Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London EC2Y 8DS. The Awards were hosted by David Lowen (RTS Honorary Secretary), with citations read by Paul Watson and Tim Vaughan (Granada). The Ceremony was attended by key television professionals, students and tutors.
For the fifth year running, the entries were split into two groups: Undergraduate and Postgraduate. Awards were made in three categories - Animation, Factual and Drama. Undergraduate entries were judged on a regional basis and these regional winners were then put forward for National Judging. The Undergraduate National Jury selected the nominees from the regional winners and the winner was selected by secret ballot. The Postgraduate nominees and winners were judged at national level only.
