On May 22nd, The Baltic, Gateshead, was the venue for a joint Northern Film & Media/RTS North East & The Border Centre event celebrating the North East’s rich heritage of children’s programme making and content creation.
With a keynote introduction from Peter Salmon, Director, BBC North, the evening looked forward as well as back, considering the resurgence of children's programmes in the region after a period of reduced activity.
The panel, chaired by Graeme Thompson (Chairman of the RTS North East and Borders Centre), featured
