The School of Saatchi- a series of four programmes - started a year ago with a competition for artists from all disciplines including installation, painting, digital media, sculpture, printmaking, performance art. Having selected just six, they attended an Art School established uniquely for them under the tutelage of some of the most innovative names in the art world today. It was a fantastic experience for all of them but, for one, the ultimate opportunity as Saatchi has reserved a space for their work at his exhibition at The Hermitage in St Petersburg, Russia.

But how were:

the ideas formed and developed,
the administration of a major art event organised,
an influential art connoisseur involved
the artists aims, aspirations, inspirations, challenges, and successes
All brought together and shown on the screen to make compelling television?

The Series of 4 Programmes aired in November 2009- January 2010 and was met with much comment from the Critics- both Television " X Factor for the cultured few" and the Art world "Is Truncated Trunk creation or curation?"
