Is TV a suitable job for a woman? A Discussion
There’s been a 10 per cent decline in the TV workforce in the last three years, but during this time 5000 women have left the industry before or during middle age, compared to 750 men. Dianne Nelmes, Chief Exec of Liberty Bell, Dawn Thewliss, BBC sports reporter, Tom Harvey, CEO Northern Film and Media and presenter Fiona Armstrong chew it over. Chaired by TV Executive Ruth Pitt.
