ITV thriller Red Eye has been recommissioned for a second series.
Jing Lusi (Gangs of London) is set to return to the ITV thriller as DS Hana Li, who faces a new conspiracy. Also returning are Lesley Sharp (From Hell) and Jemma Moore (Host) as MI5 chief Madeline Delaney and reporter Jess Li, respectively.
Further casting details will be announced closer to filming, which begins in 2025.
The first series starred Lusi, Sharp and Moore, joined by Richard Armitage as Matthew Nolan, a man extradited to Beijing to face a murder charge. An international conspiracy involving the British and Chinese governments soon unravels.
The show is written and created by Peter A Dowling, and produced by Bad Wolf.
