Founder and CEO, AKQA

Ajaz Ahmed is the founder and CEO of innovation and design firm AKQA, which employs around 6,000 people worldwide. 

AKQA’s clients include Nike, Apple and LVMH. In 2023 AKQA won the Digital Agency Global Network of the Year award and Newsweek’s Top Ten Most Loved Global Workplaces award. In 2022, Ajaz won the Spear’s Impact Award recognising the impact of his philanthropic foundation. 

In addition to his AKQA chief executive responsibilities, Ajaz is also a trustee on the charitable boards of: Mission 44, founded by Sir Lewis Hamilton; EJAF, founded by Sir Elton John; and Virgin Unite, founded by Sir Richard Branson.
