The second series of the hit Australian romcom Colin From Accounts will air on BBC Two, after the broadcaster acquired the rights from Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Series one launched on BBC Two in April 2023 and won widespread critical acclaim for its real, relatable writing, complex characters and ranging comedy.
The story centred on two dissatisfied singletons, Gordon and Ashley, whose meet-cute comes courtesy of a car accident and an injured dog, as they're forced to pay up and care for the dog together.
Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, who drew winning chemistry from their real life marriage for the first series, will return to write, star and executive produce the second.
The BBC's Head of Programme Acquisition Sue Deeks says: "BBC viewers have been completely charmed by this award-winning romantic comedy, and have taken Ashley, Gordon and unlikely cupid Colin to their hearts.
"We are so delighted that there is going to be another series of the totally engaging Colin From Accounts for us all to enjoy."
