Simon Bird (the nerdy Will from The Inbetweeners) plays a Christian patriarch convinced of an incoming apocalypse in this new six-part comedy.

David (Bird) lives with his family, the Lewises, in Manchester, who all belong to a doomsday cult. They believe the world will end in the next ten years, and that when it does, they will be absolved while everyone else burns. But with his teenage daughter Rachel (Amy James-Kelly) being lured away from home, and his wife Fiona (Kate O'Flynn) being radicalised by her next-door neighbour, eternal damnation might just be on the cards.

The Americans try their hand at the ruthless game of deception that had us all spellbound over Christmas.

There's a slight twist, in that the cast will be made up of both reality TV veterans and 'civilians' (non-famous people), and it will be interesting to see how this affects the dynamics. But the rules largely stay the same: a group of Traitors hand-picked by the host (this time, actor Alan Cumming) are tasked with picking off the group of Faithfuls one-by-one while remaining undetected. Cue chaos, and plenty of backstabbing.

Debut writer Emma Moran's new comedy Extraordinary imagines a world where everyone develops a superpower by the age of 18. Except for Jen (Máiréad Tyers), that is, who is turning 25 and still waiting for hers.

Jen's stuck at a dead-end job in a party shop and hooking up with Luke, a flaky young man with the enviable ability to fly. And so, surrounded by friends thriving on their powers, Jen sets out to find her own.

Grayson Perry’s Full English

Grayson Perry seems to have set himself the mission of uniting the country through art. Having done so in his lockdown lifeline Art Club, he has now set out to answer the burning question of what it means to be English, collecting pieces from around the country for an upcoming exhibition on our national identity.

He starts in the Kent port of Dover, where a man patrols the English channel 'defending' the waters from immigrants, before moving onto the west country to explore older ideas of England.

When a grieving therapist (played by Jason Segel) grows frustrated with a lack of breakthroughs, he rejects his ethics and starts telling his clients exactly what he thinks.

It's a great premise for a dramedy, which Segel wrote alongside Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein of Ted Lasso fame. Harrison Ford also stars as James' boss Paul.
