The RTS has awarded six new Fellowships for 2021.
RTS Fellowships recognise industry luminaries who have made an outstanding, sustained and exceptional contribution to the industry.
This year the Fellowships have been presented to Simon Heath, CEO, World Productions; Sally Joynson, CEO, Screen Yorkshire; Danielle Lux, MD, CPL Productions; Ben McOwen Wilson, MD, YouTube UK and Ireland and Director, EMEA; Clive Myrie, BBC and John Whiston, MD, Continuing Drama, ITV.
Theresa Wise, CEO at the Royal Television Society said: “All the new Fellows for 2021 are leaders in their fields, paving the way and utilising their extensive expertise to guide others through what has been another exceptional year for UK television. We are delighted to be coming together to celebrate their vast contributions to the industry.”
Jane Turton, Chief Executive Officer, All3Media and Chair of the RTS Board of Trustees, said: “Our sector has continued to excel and adapt to overcome the challenges of the last 18 months. The recipients for this year are all extremely deserving of this recognition.”
