RTS North West is putting on an exclusive free screening for children and their families at the Lowry Vue Cinema, at 10.30 am on Saturday 10th October, introduced by Simon Webb General Manager of BBC Philharmonic.

Following the acclaimed first Ten Pieces film, Ten Pieces II showcases a new classical music playlist to fire the imaginations of secondary-aged children.

The centrepiece of the BBC's biggest ever music education initiative, this exciting film commissioned by BBC Learning
features stunning performances at the atmospheric Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
The BBC Philharmonic, together with members of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the Hallé choir
perform alongside violinist Nicola Benedetti, trumpeter Alison Balsom and DJ Mr Switch.

Each piece is introduced by a celebrity, including Christopher Eccleston, James May and Pixie Lott, and uses an engaging mix of live action and animation.
From the English countryside to the heat of Spain and on to the end of the world, experience an imagined landscape populated by footballers, a dictator and mythical horsewomen.
