90th Anniversary of Baird's First Television Demonstration
To mark the 90th anniversary of John Logie Baird's first demonstration of television at the Royal Institution on 26th January 1926, RTS Wales and Aberystwyth University Centre for Media History are hosting a lecture entitled Television - First Light at 6.00pm on 26 January 2016 in A14 Lecture Theatre, Penglais Campus, Aberystwyth University.
The speaker is Don McLean (author of Restoring Baird's Image, and expert on early television).
The lecture will be followed by a wine reception.
