The college presents an annual showcase event aptly named Rave on Air. Produced, managed and engineered entirely by students the project aims to culminate academic and vocational teaching into a practical demonstration of skills.

Ravensbourne College specialises in teaching throughout all areas of the broadcast chain at undergraduate and post graduate levels. The college presents an annual showcase event aptly named Rave on Air. Produced, managed and engineered entirely by students the project aims to culminate academic and vocational teaching into a practical demonstration of skills.
Students set up their own, independently run broadcast company for three days in June each year. Comprising of two tv channels, radio and interactive services the station commissions content from all areas of the college including an array of live programming. June 2008 saw one of the largest ever RoAs including a DTT transmission from the college grounds and experimentation with a live, interactive drama production.
As a prelude to RTSLondon@RAVE09 > RTSLondon@RAVE09 hear how students get the experience of working to time, to budget and with creativity.
