RTS West of England brings you an exclusive masterclass on the social media campaign around Our Planet, the ambitious big-budget Netflix nature documentary.
Come along to hear the team from production company Silverback Films talk through how they developed and created the short form content and social media campaign which supports the eight part series.
Our Planet, narrated by David Attenborough, focuses on the remarkable diversity of habitats around the world, from the remote Arctic wilderness and mysterious deep oceans to the vast landscapes of Africa and diverse jungles of South America. The series was four years in the making, with footage filmed in 50 countries, over 600 crew members and produced in conjunction with WWF.
It launches globally on Netflix on April 5th and alongside this, Silverback Films has created additional content for a number of platforms that will help give people a deeper understanding of the wider stories, issues and solutions covered in the series.
The team from Silverback will delve into some of this multi-platform work, providing the inside track on their creative process and how to craft shareable short form content which generates a conversation.
