RTS London is delighted to be able to offer 20 members a special guided tour of the BBC's New Broadcasting House, highlighting new technology and production innovation. The redevelopment of Broadcasting House in the centre of London is the largest capital project ever undertaken by the BBC. It took a decade to complete, cost £1,014m and involved the biggest single migration of staff in the BBC’s 90 year history.
Our visit will start at the Media Café on the Ground Floor at 17.30, with members receiving a briefing from the W1 Manager before dividing into smaller groups for the guided tour itself, conducted by News and Technology management staff. We will get back together again for a final Q&A, then expect to finish around 19.30.
Please plan to arrive leaving enough time for security checks
