A public discussion about the making of the C4 documentary series featuring the work of the Princess Anne Maternity Hospital in Southampton.

"One Born Every Minute" has now run for two very successful series on C4 and has been nominated for a BAFTA award. The programme makers installed 40 cameras into Southampton’s Princess Anne Maternity Hospital and filmed much of what went on. But what are the ethics of saturation filming in a public place and how well do such methods represent what really goes on?

Join two senor members of the production team ( Lorraine Charker-Phillips and Sara Tibbetts) who will talk about the challenges of making the series from persuading people to take part to how they used the material they filmed. They will be joined by staff from the Princess Anne, parents who were featured, a range of health and media professionals and members of the public.

There is no charge for this event but you will need to book a place by clicking the registration button below.
