At the Technical Colloquium in December, last year, Mark Grinyer from Sony described the project he was involved in at the newly built Emirates Stadium where IP technology is employed to distribute TV material to the many screens throughout the stadium. This visit was an opportunity to see the installation at first hand. There was a general tour of the stadium where the emphasis was on the TV production and technical facilities. The visit was an excellent opportunity to experience a modern sport stadium at first hand without 60,000 other people being present.
