How can you use the camera in your pocket to create broadcast-quality TV reports and packages?

In this session, we’ll go through how to construct a story, how to shoot and edit on your phone, using natural lighting to make your shots look good and recording sound. And there'll be a chance to ask questions to some of the very best mobile journalists in the game.

Join us at 2pm on 4th June for a Zoom webinar which will give you the skills to start making packages on your mobile - from the safety of your home.

The panel:

Vivien Morgan: Storytelling for mobile journalism

Viven is a reporter, producer/director and presenter who has worked on Panorama, Channel 4 News, CNN and others. She is also a media trainer and has been a journalism lecturer at Kingston University.

Toby Sadler: Getting the best out of your mobile phone

Toby is a journalist, freelancing for ITV News, Channel 5 News, ITV London and Forces News. He is also a smartphone video trainer and the founder of Smartphone Shooter training.

Dougal Shaw

Dougal is a video journalist for BBC Business and BBC News. He is also a pioneer of mobile journalism - or MoJo - and shoots, edits and reports packages from around the UK and abroad.
