As part of a series of RTS panel discussions looking at various aspects of the impact of the coronavirus on the TV sector, this session will examine the medium to long-term economic impact of the coronavirus on the industry, focusing on the broadcasters and main platforms.
We will look at the prospects for TV advertising, the public and private organisations’ funding models, and the implications for the BBC and the broader PSB system. We will also ask what Ofcom and the government need to do to ensure the continued success of our TV sector.
