Event summary
IBC09 - the world leading international forum for the Industries which contribute to television and other media comes at a time when there is a downturn and much turmoil in the UK and beyond. IBC was started by the manufacturers and we have leaders of the premier UK manufacturers - now merged, A French company with very strong bought in American roots and an atypical -UK small company whose products are world beating - giving there views on what the future looks like - and how they saw IBC. This will form the starting point for a general discussion about how the Broadcasting industry is doing and what the next 12 months may bring. .
Before the panel session Jon Block winner of RTS Young Technologist will give a brief presentation on his first visit to IBC .
