Marking 60 years of the Royal Television Society in Wales, former RTS Student Award winners will discuss how they got their first break into the industry.
The evening, chaired by BBC Wales broadcast journalist and recipient of the T Glynne Davies Scholarship Megan Davies features five former RTS Student Awards winners on the panel:
- Josh Bennett: Josh is the founder of Storm & Shelter, a Cardiff-based content production company established in 2013. Their clients include a wide range of companies, such as O2, BT Openreach, and Cardiff University.
- Tom Gatley: Tom has spent the last decade working in film and television, initially as a camera operator and editor before moving into writing and directing. He recently completed his first feature film, Expiry.
- Catarina Rodrigues: A graduate from the University of South Wales, Catarina is a CG animator who worked on Shane the Chef and is currently working on My Petsaurus 3 at Bumpy Box Animation in Cardiff.
- Christopher Phillips: Christopher studied animation at the University of South Wales and since graduating he has worked as a layout artist on Shane the Chef and is currently a CG modeller at Wild Creations in Cardiff.
- Ethan Blake Brooks: Ethan graduated in 2018 from the University of South Wales. He now works as a factual TV researcher, at Boomerang TV in Cardiff as part of the Channel 4 trainee production scheme.

- The event will be held at Tramshed Cinema, Cardiff
- Doors open at 6:15pm
- The panel discussion runs from 6:30-8pm
- Drinks afterwards in the bar at Tramshed from 8-9pm
