The presentation will cover the basic design of the machine, the improvements made to suit the German War machine and how the cryptologist’s at Bletchley Park went about cracking the code.
In the build up to the Second World War, German engineers took the existing design of the Enigma machine and made signi?cant improvements to the cryptographic strength of the machine.
Bletchley Park was the United Kingdom's main decryption establishment, where ciphers and codes of Axis countries were sent for decryption. The most important of these were the ciphers generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.
