RTS Midlands is delighted to announce that Deborah Dunnett, Channel 4 Nations and Regions Manager, will be giving a Formats Masterclass to students on 30th November at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Drawing on her vast experience of developing and making programmes for all terrestrial channels, Deborah’s masterclass will help students understand how different types of programmes fit into the schedules, unpicking popular programmes to show the simple rules of formatted factual.

Deborah joined the Nations and Regions team at the end of 2016 from Scottish indie Raise the Roof, where she spent six years variously as their Head of Development, Series Producer, and more recently Executive Producer of Love It Or List It and Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas for Channel 4, and Holiday of My Lifetime with Len Goodman for BBC. Prior to this, Deborah also worked extensively across Factual Entertainment and Documentary across all the main PSB channels. Deborah’s main role, which is Pan-UK, is to work closely with the Indies we support via the Alpha Fund and through structured briefings and bespoke development.
