RTS welcomes attendees to ‘Behind the Camera’, a round robin workshop and presentation that helps you understand what happens behind the camera before the director calls ‘Action!’
Step into the world of production, and take a tour through each department, learning what their processes are and what they need to do before the camera starts rolling. Take notes from the Assistant Directors on how they create call sheets and get supporting artists ready for their starring roles. Step through checks with the Make-up and Costume Departments and see what preparation actors go through before they step in front of the camera. The Camera Department will talk you through setting up and how to get that perfect shot.
This is a great opportunity to get to know each department behind the camera and get an understanding of how integral each role is.
Suitable for early career professionals, practitioners and students.
