RTS NW are delighted to announce the Anthony H Wilson Memorial Lecture 2018 featuring Julie Hesmondhalgh.

Julie is a BAFTA-nominated actor. She is best known for her award-winning portrayal of Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street, a role she left after 16 years and won multiple awards including: an RTS Award for Best Performance (2013), a National TV Award for Best Serial Drama Performance (2014) and a Best Actress Award at the British Soap Awards (2014).

Her television credits include: Catastrophe S04Doctor WhoBroadchurch S03 (BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress, 2018) Happy Valley S02, Black Roses (RTS Award for Best Actress 2015), Moving On, Inside No. 9Banana, CucumberThe Dwelling PlacePat and MargaretThe Bill andDalziel and Pascoe.

Julie will be in conversation with Noreen Kershaw, actress and award winning director whose credits include Life on Mars, Broken, Coronation Street and Moving On.

Please join us on Tuesday November 27th at the Compass Room, Lowry Theatre.

Doors open at 6.30pm for drinks, Julie and Noreen will be on stage at 7pm.
