The RTS Ireland Television Awards 2025 | Gradaim RTS 2025

RTS Ireland are delighted to announce nominees for the 2025 RTS Ireland Television Awards. Across eleven categories, this year’s entries reflect the extraordinary contributions of creators, actors, directors, and production teams that continue to make Irish production globally renowned. 

The Royal Television Society awards had an unprecedented amount of entries in 2025. This year, the awards are hosted by Virgin Media Television with support from Screen Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, Screen Producers Ireland along with broadcasters RTÉ, TG4 and Sky Ireland.

Speaking at the announcement, Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin, Managing Director at Virgin Media Television, said: “We are delighted to host this year's RTS Ireland Awards and are looking forward to recognising outstanding achievements in the Irish broadcasting industry.” 

Agnes Cogan, RTS Republic of Ireland Chair said: “It is my great pleasure to announce the fifth annual RTS Ireland Awards (Gradaim RTS), this year hosted by Virgin Media Television. RTS Awards are among the international gold standard awards for the TV industry, and an important showcase of the extraordinary talent evident across the country’s TV and Media industry. Our awards have already established themselves as a significant part of the calendar of the Irish TV and Media scene.”

Outstanding Contribution Award, Breakthrough Talent Award (sponsored by Production People) and Audiences’ Choice Award (sponsored by Screen Producers Ireland) will also be announced on the evening of the awards.
