RTS Devon & Cornwall Student Television Awards 2022

RTS Devon & Cornwall Student Television Awards 2022 will be held on Wednesday 27 April 2022 at The Market Hall – Immersive Dome, Duke Street, Devonport, Plymouth PL1 4PS. The Awards Ceremony will start at 7pm with a Welcome Drinks Reception from 6pm. 

The RTS Student Television Awards encourage, nurture, support and reward talent, potential and enthusiasm of students in colleges and universities for the creation of film and video content.

We are really lucky to have some great talent in our region, and this year the Devon & Cornwall Committee are able to once again celebrate their achievements in person, after 2 years of having to run the event virtually.

These Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate and recognise outstanding skills, ambition and creativity and offer students a unique opportunity to put their creative talents before the critical eye of professionals, win recognition for their skills, and even “audition” for a first job in the television, media and film industry.

This year, excellence will be recognised in four award categories: Animation, Comedy & Entertainment, Drama and Factual. Craft Skills will also be celebrated for Sound, Camera, Writing, Production Design and Editing.

The winners from each category (excluding craft skills) will be entered into the RTS National Student Awards later in the year. 

The event will also feature a demonstration of the 360 degree immersive dome technology and capabilities.
