Henpocalypse!

Tuesday

BBC Two, 10.00pm

Caroline Moran's riotous new comedy imagines a deadly outbreak of 'crab measles' just as a group of friends are celebrating an upcoming wedding.

The Brummie 'bridezilla' is Zara (Lucie Shorthouse), and she's organised a messy hen do in a remote Welsh cottage only for their party to be pooped by nothing less than the end of the world. When they run out of coffee, they have to arm themselves with hair straighteners and penis paraphernalia for a daring adventure into post-apocalyptic Snowdonia, where love blooms, ethics are forgotten, and Danny Dyer turns venerable sage.

At Home With the Furys

Wednesday

Netflix

The larger-than-life Gypsy King is a born entertainer, so it was only a matter of time before he was given his own show. This new 'docusoap' follows the heavyweight champion of the world as he steps out of one ring and into another - his hectic family home. "Just enjoy it now," his wife Paris orders in the trailer. To which he replies, "enjoy what?"

There's both light and shade, though. Fury has long been open about his mental health struggles, and he admits in the trailer that "boxing is the only thing that gives me purpose." Retirement, then, presents him with yet another formidable opponent.

Sanditon

Thursday

ITVX

The extension of Jane Austen's unfinished Regency-romance novel comes to a close, with a third and final sumptuous series.

Georgiana (Crystal Clarke) is celebrating her 21st birthday, but while a lavish party awaits at the seaside resort, her old friend Charlotte (Rose Williams) returns with her fiancé Ralph for an awkward reunion with Alexander Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes).

Shelter

Friday

Prime Video

Harlan Coben's gripping and twisting supernatural thrillers are faithfully adapted for a new series.

Jaden Michael stars as Mickey Bolitar, who moves in with his aunt in suburban New Jersey following the traumatising death of his father. When another new student mysteriously disappears, he enlists the help of his new friends, both goths and geeks, to try and untangle the web of secrets. At the centre is a dark and creepy old house that could shed some light on his father's death, and decades of other disappearances.

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Final

Sunday

BBC One

After coming from behind to beat Colombia 2-1 in the quarter finals, only our old sporting enemies the Aussies stand in the Lionesses’ way to World Cup glory.

England would face either Spain or Sweden in the final at Stadium Australia in Sydney, the latter of whom blew the tournament wide open when they defeated the current holders USA in the last 16.
