Reg, a new 90 minute drama from The Accused writer Jimmy McGovern and Robert Pugh, sees Tim Roth (The Hateful Eight) play Reg, the father of one of six Royal Military Police soldiers murdered in Iraq.
With their lives torn apart by the loss of their son, Reg and his wife Sally (Anna Maxwell Martin) begin to question the events that led to their sons death, and the war in Iraq itself. With the Government refusing to answer difficult questions, Reg takes matters into his own hands when he stands as an independent parliamentary candidate in Tony Blair’s constituency.

When a walker is found dead on a local baronet’s land soon after he declared war on her rambling group, there is only one woman to discover who did it. Step forward Agatha Raisin (Ashley Jensen), a PR guru who has left London for a new life in a quiet Cotswold village. Often unorthodox in her methods, Agatha ropes in her on-off love interest James (Jamie Glover) to pose as a married couple and go undercover in the victim’s rambling group.

Following the success of last year’s Ballot Monkeys, Power Monkeys is a scripted comedy made and aired in one day. The satirical series, featuring comedy heavyweights Jack Dee and Claire Skinner, follows the campaign trails of the Conservative’s pro-EU contingent, the Unity Unit, and the cross-party Brexit Roadshow as they prepare for the impending EU referendum.
The series also gives us an insight into Donald Trump’s campaign plane, where moderate Republican Lauren (Amelia Bullmore) has been drafted in to help Trump win women’s votes, but is left wondering if she’s the right person for the job.

Stefan (Mark Strepan) and Rash (Ben Tavassoli) are two junior investigators, working for the Serious Fraud Office and the police respectively in a new investigative drama series from Foyle’s War creator Anthony Horowitz. Different in almost every way, they share frustrations of being underpaid and undermind, with huge student loans, and no job security.
Their friendship blossoms as they combine their skills and resources to take on the uber-rich and powerful, including the new breed of criminals who hide behind legitimate facades and are guarded by lawyers.

Home nations Wales and England start their bid for the Euro 2016 trophy on Saturday.
Gareth Bale captains the Welsh side, who make their debut at the finals of a European Championship, as they play Slovakia in Bordeaux, the first time the Welsh have played in a major tournament since the 1958 World Cup.
The England team kick off their tournament in Marseille, where they take on Russia, captained by Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney.
Northern Ireland face Poland in their first game on Sunday (BBC One, 4.15pm for kick off at 5pm).

The murder of paperboy Carl Bridgewater in 1978 is one of Britain’s most infamous unsolved murder cases, which saw the biggest police manhunt for a child killer since the Moors Murders.
Criminologist Professor David Wilson interviews Bert Spencer, a man widely suspected of Bridgewater’s murder. Although convicted of a similar murder at a neighbouring farm, former ambulance driver Spencer has always denied killing the paperboy. Over a series of no-holds-barred interviews, Wilson explores the events and the evidence surrounding both the murder Spencer was convicted for, and the one he was never charged with.
