The second series of Sky’s original comedy Brassic is heading to Sky One and Now TV next month.
Picking up a few months after the first series ended, Brassic’s follow-up re-joins the gang of Lancashire lads on their marvellous misadventures.
The first episode of the new series finds Vinnie, played by Joe Gilgun (Misfits), in his weed shed, where he’s been hiding out since faking his own death to escape the wrath of local gangster Terrance McCann (Ramon Tikaram).
In an attempt to lure him out of hiding, Tommo (Ryan Sampson) and Erin (Michelle Keegan) offer Vinnie a ‘business proposition’ he can’t refuse. Together with the rest of the lads, they plot to rob a travelling circus.
John Thompson (Cold Feet) joins the cast as Mr Popov, the dissatisfied clown who helps the gang in their efforts to make the theft a ‘roaring’ success.
Bill Paterson (Fleabag) also joins the cast for the second series, while Dominic West (The Affair) returns as Vinnie’s hapless GP.
All six episodes will be available to watch from Thursday 7th May on Sky One and Now TV. Catch up on the first series of Brassic on Now TV and Sky Go now.
