Industry Newcomer Award

This award is for new Welsh entrants to the television industry, specifically those who are in their first paid role.  The role can be from any aspect of the behind-the camera production process, including development, research, production management and all craft roles.  The judges will want to see evidence of extensive contributions to a team effort, demonstrate newly learned skills, creativity, innovation, professionalism and lots of potential.

To nominate someone, please submit a written account of approximately 500 words.to: awardsentry.rts.org.uk/entrant by January 14th 2019.
Please note there is a £50 fee per nomination.

Industry Breakthrough Award

Nominated by an employer - max two nominations per employer

This award is for the rising Welsh star of the television industry.  With a minimum of two years’ experience of working in tv, they must have achieved at least one on screen credit in a role that can be from any aspect of the behind-the camera production process, including development, research, production management and all craft roles.  The judges will want to see evidence of an outstanding individual who has demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity and promise.

To nominate someone, please submit a written account of approximately 500 words.  This can be supported by video to demonstrate the entrant’s work.
